A good idea is to make your own affiliate program through your site and then people could become your direct advertisers. Your affiliate program should hit sites that have a lot of traffic since this is a numbers game. Less travelled sites will generally produce less sales, it's as simple as that. Other options include signing up with an affiliate network and becoming one of their Merchants. Just put "best affiliate programs" into a search engine and you will find information about how these programs work. We suggest sites like Clickbank or Linkshare, just to name a few.

You need to grab the fleeting focus of a potential buyer with eye catching web banners and ads on your affiliates sites. If you know how to create a banner or text ad, then you are one step ahead of the game. If you don't know how to do that, there are services out there that will help you create a profession looking banner and ad that will help you promote your eBook.

When a buyer comes from an affiliate site to buy your eBook it should be easy for them to pay for it right away. Not only does this make it easier on them, it also makes it easier for you to track affiliate sales. People will feel more comfortable buying your eBooks if you offer pays buttons through PayPal or MoneyBrokers. These are tried and true systems of sending and receiving cash, and best yet, both buyer and seller are protected through the companies fraud detection systems.

Affiliate marketing is not the only way you can promote your eBook online, there are many different ways to do it. But it is one of the most effective ways of getting your eBook sales off to a great start and getting cash deposited into your account!
